The Cornhusker State is getting its first Buc-ee's! The Texas-based travel center chain has announced plans to build a location in Gretna, just southwest of Omaha, with an expected opening around 2028.

The new Buc-ee's will be located on a 43-acre site southeast of Interstate 80 and Highway 31, in Gretna's Nebraska Crossing "Good Life District." The site is south of Nebraska Crossing shopping area and east of the Flying J truck stop, providing excellent visibility and access for I-80 travelers.
