Buc-ee's opened its Hillsboro location on April 21, 2024, becoming the second Buc-ee's on Interstate 35 in Texas (after Temple). The massive 74,000-square-foot travel center serves travelers between Dallas and Waco.

Grand Opening

Doors opened to the public at 6 a.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed at 1 p.m. The opening had been delayed from the original April 1 date due to supply chain issues with electrical components.

Located at 165 State Highway 77 at the northeast corner of I-35 and Highway 77, Buc-ee's Hillsboro is conveniently positioned for travelers on one of Texas's busiest interstate corridors.

Eclipse Delay
