Buc-ee's opened its second Georgia location in Calhoun on August 23, 2021. Located at 601 Union Grove Road just off I-75, this travel center serves the North Georgia region and travelers between Atlanta and Chattanooga.
Grand Opening
Doors opened to the public at 6 a.m. EST, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. celebrated the debut. The ceremony was attended by local leaders including Mayor Jim Palmer of Calhoun, Gordon County Administrator Jim Ledbetter, and Gordon County Development Authority President Kathy Johnson.

Buc-ee's Calhoun is approximately 160 miles from the first Georgia outpost in Warner Robins, strategically positioned to serve a different market along the I-75 corridor. The location makes it an ideal stop for travelers heading to Chattanooga, Dalton, or the North Georgia mountains.
