Buc-ee's Arrives on Florida's Space Coast

Buc-ee's opened its second Florida location in Daytona Beach on March 22, 2021, just one month after the St. Augustine opening. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis attended the grand opening, calling Buc-ee's "the Shangri-La of service stations."

Grand Opening

The travel center opened at Interstate 95 and LPGA Boulevard at 6 a.m., with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. featuring local leaders and state officials.

Location

Located at 2330 Gateway North Drive, the Daytona Beach Buc-ee's serves travelers on I-95 heading to and from Florida's famous beaches, Daytona International Speedway, and the Kennedy Space Center.

History

Buc-ee's first announced plans for the Daytona Beach location in April 2017, with construction beginning in summer 2018. Project delays pushed the opening to 2021, but the wait was worth it for eager Florida travelers.

The Daytona Beach location brought more than 200 new, permanent, full-time jobs to the area with competitive wages and full benefits.
