Central Georgia is getting a Buc-ee's! The Monroe County Board of Commissioners approved plans for a new travel center off I-75 at Rumble Road near Forsyth, expected to open in Summer 2027.
Project Approval
The Monroe County Board of Commissioners approved Buc-ee's plans to build at the Rumble Road location off I-75. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division granted the chain a stream buffer variance on July 30, 2025, allowing construction within 25 feet of state waters on the 30.79-acre tract.
