Memphis area residents won't have to wait much longer! Buc-ee's broke ground in Gallaway, Tennessee on November 13, 2024, with an expected opening of Summer 2026.

Location

The new Buc-ee's is being built at Exit 28 off I-40 on TN-196, about 40 minutes northeast of downtown Memphis. The location is strategically positioned halfway between Memphis and the Blue Oval City campus (Ford's electric vehicle manufacturing facility) in Stanton.

Economic Impact

The project is expected to pump $12 million annually into Fayette County's economy. County leaders approved a $15 million loan for infrastructure work, which will be repaid by new tax revenue generated by the project.
