Louisiana's second Buc-ee's is coming to Lafayette off I-10, with an $82 million investment expected to bring 150 jobs by mid-2027.
Buc-ee's Coming to Cajun Country
Lafayette is set to welcome Buc-ee's to Louisiana's Acadiana region! The new travel center is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026, potentially becoming Louisiana's first operating Buc-ee's location mid-2027.

Buc-ee's closed on the purchase of 42 acres at the northeast corner of Interstate 10 and Louisiana Avenue. The land was purchased from the Castille family for the massive development.
Investment
The Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) confirmed that Buc-ee's will spend $82 million on the project, of which $12.5 million is for public infrastructure improvements.
