Murfreesboro Buc-ee's Under Construction

Tennessee's fourth Buc-ee's is taking shape in Murfreesboro, with construction underway since the October 14, 2024 groundbreaking. The new travel center is located at the intersection of Interstate 24 and Joe B Jackson Parkway in Rutherford County.

Location Details

The Murfreesboro Buc-ee's sits in a prime location along I-24, making it a perfect stop for travelers heading between Nashville and Chattanooga. The site is easily accessible from the Joe B Jackson Parkway exit.

Store Features

When complete, the Murfreesboro location will feature:

• 74,000 square feet of retail space
• 120 fueling positions
• Electric vehicle charging stations
• Walking trail on the property
• Full Buc-ee's experience including Texas BBQ, Beaver Nuggets, and fresh fudge

Economic Impact

The new Buc-ee's is expected to create approximately 250 full-time jobs for the Murfreesboro area. Employees will receive competitive wages starting above minimum wage, full benefits, a 6% matching 401(k), and three weeks of paid vacation.

Tennessee Expansion

This will be Tennessee's fourth Buc-ee's location, joining stores in Crossville and Kodak (Sevierville), with another under construction in Gallaway. The company has made Tennessee a key market for expansion.
