Buc-ee's opened its Sevierville location on June 26, 2023, and at the time it was the world's largest convenience store at 74,707 square feet—bigger than a football field. It held that title until June 2024 when a larger Buc-ee's opened in Luling, Texas.
Grand Opening
The convenience store opened to the public at 6 a.m., with a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Buc-ee's owner Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, and Cherokee tribal leaders attended the celebration.

Located at 170 Buc-ee's Boulevard in Kodak (near Sevierville) at Exit 407 off I-40, this massive travel center is perfectly positioned for visitors heading to the Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge.

Construction
