Grand Opening
The 53,000-square-foot travel center at 3284 N. Mulroy Road in Springfield opened its doors at 6 a.m. The grand opening drew devoted fans from across the state, with some describing the Buc-ee's following as "almost a cult."

Located in Springfield, the travel center is positioned along I-44. Springfield City Manager Jason Gage expressed excitement about Springfield being chosen as the location for Missouri's first Buc-ee's.
