West Memphis is getting one of the largest Buc-ee's locations in the country! The new travel center off I-40 is scheduled to open in June 2028, becoming Arkansas's second Buc-ee's.

The West Memphis Buc-ee's is set to be the third largest in the United States, spanning 74,000 square feet on a 34-acre property.
Location
The store will be located on the eastbound side of Interstate 40 between Missouri Street and North 7th Street, right next to the Cracker Barrel and two new hotels. The location is less than 10 miles from Downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Construction Timeline
Mayor Marco McClendon announced the groundbreaking is scheduled for December 2024, with the store expected to open in 2026, weather permitting.
With infrastructure changes and road work planned, the center has been delayed to a June 2028 opening.
